Making the Cordial: Place every items in a pot, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating to dissolve. Next, take off the stove and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Transfer to a sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it chilled, where it will keep for about one month.
Preparing the Premix: Mix all the liquids in a big jug, let it rest for an hour, then pass it through best through a fine cloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
To serve: Measure 85ml of the premix into your mixing glass containing ice, gently stirring lightly for one minute to cool it down. Filter to a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, garnish with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
